Discover Kazekaeshi Touge – Tsukuba’s Legendary Mountain Drift Route

Located at the end of Omote Tsukuba Skyline (Asahi Touge), Kazekaeshi Touge (風返し峠) is one of the most iconic and beloved spots in the drifting and biking community. This 3.5 km stretch of winding mountain road has been popular since the 1990s, known for its thrilling corners and night-time drift culture.

A Landmark Reborn

Once marked by a well-known mountain lodge—now gone—we’ve chosen to revive this lost landmark digitally, preserving the spirit of the golden era of drifting.

Despite multiple anti-drift measures implemented over the years, enthusiasts continue to gather here, keeping the legend alive.
