Porsche 911 GT3RS
|The Porsche 911 GT3RS is now available for Assetto Corsa. The GT3RS is still using its famous flat 6 engine and pushes out 500hp all from a naturally aspirated motor. This car screams all the way to 9000rpm and handles amazingly.

Good work, fun to drive!
Steering seems very “regular-street-car”-wise in terms of rotation needed to go around corners (more than I usually experience with similar cars in AC or Pcars as well – but honestly I don’t know which relates more to reality). In slower corners tendency to understeer which I wouldn’t expect of a GT3RS – but can easily pushed into drift with right gas/break handling (maybe too easy for this car?). Sound is okay but some rework would help – at the moment it sounds to much of a copy of a recorded sound.
Definitely worth to download!
Very good. I find the best way to drive this car is to enter into the corner a little later than what you would expect to, forcing the car to rotate from the inertia of the rear engine trying to swing outside. It reduces the tendencies of the car to understeer in most corners.
How do I install a car? It saved the RS as a .rar but not as a file which I can put into the car directory…
Download winrar to extract the file
Nice work, I liked the whole body modeling but Interrior needs more bumpy textures and details. Engine sound needs to be bold or hard a bit more.
9/10 I say.
I installed the GT3 RS (991) but when I want to drive it it doesn’t load, it goes back to the start screen. Can anyone tell me how to fix it…
P.S. Great mods. I just started playing the game and I must say the mods I’ve added have already added to the enjoyment of the game.
thank you
I’m getting an error:
porsche991gt3rs : Error cannot find lods.ini for car porsche991gt3rs
I can see the file in the ../data/ folder – any idea what could be wrong?
Thanks.
Fixed my error (above) – I’d extracted the mod files to the \Users\%Username%\Documents\Assetto Corsa\content\cars folder, rather than the \Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars folder.
Having now moved them, it’s all wokring correctly.
What a car! 🙂
Hey guys, new to the Assetto Corsa modding scene, every new car I install, my game reverts back to the main menu/launcher and automatically changes my resolution to 1600×900 and shrinks my game so I can’t see anything. I’m running 1.1.6 which I figure might be the problem, but can’t seem to find an update anywhere without paying for the dlc at the sametime. Suggestions?
the game will update if you have purchased its legally from steam and not pirated a copy.
great work!!!!! thanx for the mod.
the link doesnt work? or just me?
Should be fixed now 🙂
