Huge Open World Map
Today we have something different for Assetto Corsa. A user by the name of zenta has re-created a huge open world map of paris. It was his first attempt so the road mesh’s are quite rough and it has a few issues but its a very cool concept and good fun to just cruise around on.

I tried to play this a few times, but after a few turns it becomes un-drivable and very annoying that anyone would put something out here like this. Do some more work on it so it actually feels like streets, not just one blocky jump after the other. You do realize with any little bump the cars go bouncing all over the place right?

great, bold attempt. Don’t feel let down even if it’s not driveable at the moment. I was hoping someone would make a hug city map for everyone to drive in for years, and you came to save the day. Like all good work, it comes with time and experience. When you perfect this work, you could be making a revolution in car sim modding.
It realy undriveable. I hope that project going on with a more flat city.

A this is great for meetups and chating.
A outer mega loop and maybe a straight stretch would make this a epic social map.
as far as current usability… i’m more then sure! that anyone that put this much time into a map for a racing game is more then painfully aware of its current driving conditions…
I find it very very interesting exploring the “city”.
The freedom of driving where-ever one wants to drive is a lot of fun.
Having other AI cars and pedestrians active on the layout, such as is found on Midnight Club2, would be a nice addition to am already fun layout.
